I have worked at home for 15+ years and I absolutely love it and would not give it up for anything. My daughter is now 15 and I have been able to be a hands on mother, see all her performances, taxi her around, etc. I miss the socialization of being at the office as well, especially at this time of year when everyone is having office parties, bringing in goodies, etc. Good luck with your freelance writing.
